Rotaract Club of CIET Ikons established 15th August 2016. [A Community Club and a Campus Based Club] - As a sponsor Rotary club to keep the connection between Rotaract and Rotary strong by involving them in all our projects and encouraging them to do a lot of projects on their own, thus developing their various skills.
Rotaract brings together young people ages 18-30 in universities and communities worldwide to organize service activities, develop their leadership and professional skills, and have fun. Rotary clubs sponsor them, but Rotaract club members manage and fund their clubs independently.
Sponsored by international service organization Rotary International, Rotaract is a service club for young men and women ages 18-30.
Modeled after the goals and standards of Rotary, Rotaract brings together college students and young business professionals for humanitarian service, networking, building goodwill and promoting peace around the world. As one of the fastest-growing Rotary programs, Rotaract has a strong international presence. Today, Rotaract has grown into a strong, international network of over 7,300 clubs with over 170,000 members in more than 163 countries.
Each Rotaract club is sponsored by a local Rotary club, and is generally either university- or community-based. Each chapter has its own unique personality, sometimes with special emphases. Like Rotary, Rotaract clubs meet on a regular basis, and are nonpolitical, nonreligious, and welcome anyone interested in joining.
